Privacy, explained clearly.
This policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
Summary
- We collect only what we need to operate the product (accounts, sites you build, RSVP submissions, and basic usage data).
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- You control what you publish (public site) vs what stays private (drafts, editor data).
- Guests’ RSVP info is used to deliver RSVP features to you (the couple), and to notify you when responses come in.
1) Who we are
WeddingWebsite4U.com ("we", "us") provides a website builder for creating and publishing wedding websites, including tools like RSVP, schedule, travel information, galleries, and related sections.
If you have questions about privacy, contact us at Support@WeddingWebsite4U.com.
2) What we collect
Account data (couples)
- Name and email address
- Authentication info (e.g., OAuth provider identifiers)
- Billing details and transaction records processed through Lemon Squeezy and other payment service providers where applicable
Website builder data (couples)
- Website content you create (text, images, sections, settings)
- Theme choices (fonts, colors, layout presets)
- Draft and published site metadata (subdomain/domain, publish state)
RSVP data (guests)
- Guest name and RSVP response
- Optional details you enable (meal choice, plus-one info, notes)
Usage & device data
- Basic analytics (pages viewed, feature usage, errors)
- Device/browser info (for security and performance)
- IP address (for fraud prevention and rate limiting)
3) How we use your data
- To provide and maintain the service (editor, hosting, publishing)
- To process RSVPs and notify couples of new responses
- To process payments, taxes, receipts, refunds, fraud checks, and related billing support
- To prevent abuse, spam, fraud, or security incidents
- To improve product performance, reliability, and user experience
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries
4) What is public vs private
Draft sites are private by default and are only accessible via your account or an unlisted preview link (if you choose to share one).
Published sites are intended to be accessible to guests and may be publicly reachable depending on the URL you share and your privacy settings.
RSVP submissions are visible to the couple who owns the site and are not intended for public display.
5) Sharing and third parties
We may use trusted service providers to help operate the platform (for example: hosting, databases, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing).
This includes Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our merchant of record for checkout, payment processing, tax calculation, receipts, invoices, refunds, fraud prevention, and chargeback handling.
We do not sell personal information. We only share data when necessary to deliver the service, comply with law, or protect users and the platform.
6) Data retention
We keep account and site data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete your account, which will remove your sites and associated content (subject to reasonable backup retention for security and disaster recovery).
RSVP data is retained as long as the website is active or until the couple deletes it from the dashboard/editor.
7) Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data (access controls, encryption in transit, and secure storage practices). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to minimize risk.
8) Your choices
- Edit or delete your site content anytime
- Unpublish your website
- Request deletion of your account
- Control what RSVP fields you collect
To request deletion, email Support@WeddingWebsite4U.com.
9) Cookies
We may use cookies or similar technologies for login sessions, security, and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
